Why go through all the paperwork for a new place, just to tell us that you MIGHT lease to somebody else if they pay the deposit first??
HELLO WE WOULDN'T HAVE WASTED ALL THIS TIME IF YOU WEREN'T GOING TO GET THE DEPOSIT.
you say, "oh well if you cant pay the deposit till you sign the lease, then somebody else might snatch it up before you" Um, okay so nobody can move in till the first, and you just have to wait three business days for the deposit, which is way before november first. KNOWING we are in a shelter and this was basically our last option because of the eviction. had i known you were going to act like this, i would have continued to look for another place as a backup. I understand its "just business" but you said you were kind, and had a heart. we had a heart to heart talk with you, and after our meeting i felt so relieved, just for you to take it all away from us.
Okay, okay. So we might still get the place, but i am still so upset, i couldnt stop crying today, yelled at my husband even though he's not the douchebag, you are. And he just took it and let me yell at him to make me feel better. Guess what, it made me feel worse.
Did you even look at my daughter, imagining her in a shelter? Like who does that. If you dont want to be patient for us, you should try to be for my baby. Put yourself in our shoes, please just try. I don't think you could walk 10 feet as us, you'd fall flat on your face with the slap of reality being thrown at you.
even though you own plenty of units, arent hurting for money, you still can't wait three days. three days and you could have changed a family's life.
Thank you for giving me an anxiety attack and going home to your nice big house while we sit in a mice infested building.
